Hello everyone. Recently I have started searching for new ways of creating flowers. I do like to use them for my projects, mostly fabric or from mulberry paper. However it is fun to recycle something new.
This time I tried dry baby wipes. I have a pack with the cover seal broken and they dried up. But I kept them and use them to remove adhesive and so on.
I looked at them and found that their texture is quite soft , so I thought it's a good new product to try.
So I took 3-4 of the wipes and cut them using Donna's Spellbinders Jumbo Rose Steel Rule Die. It cuts it perfectly, that is why I love steel rule dies for - you can put many layers and it cuts the fabric perfectly.
Then I took Donna Salazar with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Lace Trim and sewed it to the center of the flowers.
After that I added the stems and some pearl beads. The flower is almost ready. I adhered it to the frame, that I covered with fabric and embellished with the flowers.
Glitter and gold are on the trend, so I covered the flower slightly with Donna Salazar with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Girly Grunge Art medium and sprinkled gold glitter on it.
So fun and so simple!
