Hi everyone. It's Tracey back to share a new project with you. I enjoy creating cards for the special people in my life. One of my dear scrapbooking friends turned 75 recently, and I created this girlie grunge card for her featuring my signature twine flowers created with Donna's Scrapbooking Adhesives by 3L Girlie Grunge Twine.
Tips and Techniques
Donna's Girlie Grunge Twine makes up into gorgeous flowers. You can view a video tutorial on how to create these gems HERE. The sparkling centers are DODZ™ - 3D sprinkled with Donna's Clearsnap Twinkle Dust Glitter.
To give the flowers a grungy effect, I rubbed them with Donna's Clearsnap Stormy Mix'd Media Inx. Underneath each of the twine flowers is a folded Girlie Grunge Gauze flower.
I mixed up some of Donna's Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Pigment Powders with her Girlie Grunge Art Medium to color this resin feather. I also added a couple strips of her Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Girlie Grunge Tissue Tape Ash and Oak (Ash) to the background.
I'm wearing my adhesive on the outside on Donna's Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® 3D Foam Swirls. I started by sprinkling just a little of Donna's Clearsnap Jasmine and Chiffon Mix'd Media Inx Embossing Powder onto the swirls and heat set. I then sprinkled Twinkle Dust Glitter over the swirl and rubbed it into the remaining sticky adhesive. Finally, I rubbed Stormy Mix'd Media Inx lightly over the edges and to highlight the texture.
I added a strip of Donna's Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Lace Ribbon underneath the flowers and inked the card and sentiment edges with Stormy Mix'd Media Inx.
