Hello my lovely peeps! Today I've got some fun stuff to share with you. I'll be attending the Sierra Pacific Crafts Mixed Media Event next month and I wanted to show you the Make n Takes that we will be doing in the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® booth. I'll be doing Mixed Media demos each day during the event as well.
This first Make n Take is a Mixed Media tag. Everyone attending will be able to create these cute little bird houses by adding a bit of Girlie Grunge Tissue Tape to the ends of some arrow banner die cuts (from my Alpha Bits Stamp/Die Combo from Spellbinders) as well as getting to play with some of the watercolor paints that I've made with my Pigment Powders (you can find the blog post on how to make them here: DIY Watercolor with Pigment Powders)
Everyone attending will be able to create this cute little boutonniere that they can pin on their lapel, purse, shirt, etc... I'll be showing how to create a large flower stamen with my Girlie Grunge Art Medium and Pigment Powders as well as how to wrap the Lace Ribbon and Girlie Grunge Gauze together to make this cute little rustic artwear!
I also wanted to give you a peek at my Technique Journal that is currently in progress. I'm loving these pages so much that I just had to share!!! I'm using my Denim Art Journal as the base and after I finish a few more pages I'll be creating a cool mixed media cover. This isn't a class, it's just a journal to help explain some of my products at conventions and sales events.
These tags using Pigment Powder and texture mediums were so easy to make. I love the look of the clear mediums best.
These little tags were made using my Cascading Butterflies dies from Spellbinders® with my Girlie Grunge Mixed Media and the watercolor paints I made with my Pigment Powders. You can learn how to make your own watercolor paints on this blog post: DIY Watercolor with Pigment Powders
