Sometimes I challenge myself and try to make something without flowers and feminine softness. Something masculine and grungy, this is a challenge for me. However, I tried Donna's new Spellbinders dies and created this card.
First I started with a tag that I embossed using Donna's Spellbinders Chicken Wire Embossing Folder: however, I used the backside of it, as I liked the opposite background surface instead of regular.
I colored it with Clearsnap Mix'd Media Inx, and added Donna Salazar with Scrapbook Adhesives Girlie Grunge Tissue Tape.
Using Donna's Spellinders Gears Steel Rule Die, I cut the gears from denim and cardboard, though they are quite thick, the die cuts are perfectly cut.
I also topped them with the star, that comes from Donna's Spellbinders Cascading Stars that I placed on my background.
To finish my card I used Donna's Spellbinders Art Doll crown stamp and die, and pulled Donna Salazar with Scrapbook Adhesives Girlie Grunge Twine through the hole in the tag.
To make all the embellishments look a bit pop up, I used Foam Squares and Donna Salazar with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Dodz™ XL.
