Hello my peeps! I LOVE art dolls and today I'm sharing photos of an Art Doll on a stick that I've made using a few of my new products from Spellbinders® and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®.
For the base of this art doll I used my new "Art Doll" Contour Steel Rule Die on colored shipping tags. I used my "Medallion" embossing folder to give her dress a pattern. I also used E-Z Dots and Twinkle Dust Glitter to add glittery texture to her wings.
I used Mix'd Media Inx CHOX with one of the crown stamps in my Art Doll Accessories stamp set and die cut it with the Art Doll Accessories die set. I used the same Art Doll Accessories die set to die cut both the background and detailed wings.
I used Mix'd Media Inx CHOX with my Alpha Bits Stamp/Die Combo to make the little banner. The letters fit perfectly inside the square centers of the banner dies (that also die cut the two holes on the top of each banner piece). I used my Girlie Grunge Twine to string the little banner pieces.
I die cut material using the background wing dies and adhered it to the back of the background wings.
I tied Girlie Grunge Gauze strips to a piece of Girlie Grunge Twine and tied it around the doll's waist to create her skirt.
I added a bow (made from the organza ribbon in my Texture Ribbons pack) that I used a heat gun on to make it ruffle and adhered it with Dodz™XL. I also added a bit of lace from my Lace Ribbons pack around the top of the skirt.
