Hi everyone. It's Tracey back to share my latest project with you. I recently received an amazing package jam-packed full of Donna's new Spellbinder products. I'm featuring her new Medallion embossing folder, one of her four gorgeous new embossing folders. I've also used her Journal Words stamp set for the sentiment.
Donna has fabulous news. Her huge line-up of new products is now available on the Spellbinders website. You can view all of her Spellbinder products HERE.
Tips and Techniques
I reverse embossed this lightly patterned paper, then rubbed Donna's Clearsnap Chiffon and Honey Mix'd Media Ink around the edges and across the surface to highlight the embossed texture.
The "Cherish" and "Friend" words are stamped on a scrap of the same paper with Donna's new Journal Word stamp set with Truffle Mix'd Media Inx. When the sentiment dried I rubbed Chiffon and Honey Mix'd Media Inx across the word pieces, then pulled the edges across my Truffle stamp pad.
The two larger blossoms are cut with Donna's Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms die. She has come out with a larger version of this die, and I can't wait to pull it out and start creating flowers with it. I inserted the stamen and secured the ends with one of Donna's Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Dodz™ XL, which I also used to adhere the flower to the card. The double loop bow is tied with Donna's Girlie Grunge Twine in pink. To grunge up the twine, I pulled it through Honey Mix'd Media Inx.
I trimmed the edges off of Donna's Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L burlap Textured Ribbon and Lace Ribbon, then inked them with the Chiffon and Honey Mix'd Media Inx. They are attached to the card with Home and Hobby Premium Double-Sided Tape.
One final view! You can really see the amazing texture and design achieved with the Medallion embossing folder.
